RA RESOURCES & THE PROUD PROGRAM
PROUD PROGRAM
The Psychology Research Opportunities for Underrepresented and Diverse students (PROUD) is focused on professional development including providing students with research opportunities that will make them competitive applicants for graduate school. Students in the PROUD program meet with Dr. Benuto and other DICE Lab team members throughout the semester. The objectives of these meetings are to prepare the student for graduate school and provide them with hands on research training. Students in the PROUD program can expect to work on conference presentations and/or peer-reviewed manuscripts. The program is competitive and requires a competitive GPA, a strong interest in research, and a plan to apply to PHD programs in clinical psychology. Dr. Benuto accepts approximately 3 students into the PROUD program each year (those who join the program are excepted to make a minimum 1-year commitment).

Please make sure to read the Saldana book as this video in and of itself is not sufficient for learning how to analyze qualitative data.
